You can count on Clive Cussler for a good beach read. The Storm is the latest Kurt Austin adventure. The plot is about a Yemeni megalomaniac who steals innovative microbot technology to alter weather patterns around the world. (He figures that if he can control rainfall, he can control the world.)There's excitement, betrayal, skullduggery--but no romance. It was perfect fare for yesterday's 102 degree weather here in the Windy City.
