Famous Last Words by Gillian McAllister

 Camilla is a new mom heading back to work after her maternity leave. When she gets up the morning she is heading back to work, her husband Luke is nowhere to be found but has left her a cryptic note. She keeps texting him but gets no response. When she gets to work, the police show up and tell her that her husband is holding 3 people hostage in a warehouse and they need her to come with them. And so begins the nightmare that will impact the next several years of Camilla's life. 

The other main story line involves Niall, the hostage negotiator for the police that day. When 2 people end up dead, he blames himself for not letting the police storm the building. But was he wrong about the situation? And was Camilla wrong about the man she loves? The story takes some interesting twists and turns as Cam and Niall deal with the fallout of that fateful day. Compelling story.
