 This is the latest book from the author of the wonderful The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife and it also deals with seniors living in senior housing. Griff was the chef and owner of a Michelin starred restaurant married to Beau, the love of his life, when Beau's health took a turn. Griff took care of him for as long as he could then had to put him in an assisted living facility--then fake his own dementia so that the two of them could stay together. In his darkest hours, it's Griff's love of food and cooking that starts to bring him back from the edge--and turn him into a warmer, kinder person. It's a very touching story about love and loss and redemption.
