Rogue Lawyer by John Grisham

At the beginning of the story, the Rogue Lawyer reminded me of Michael Connelly's Lincoln Lawyer --an unconventional lawyer whose office is his car. But that's not necessarily a bad thing since I like Michael Connelly. Anyway, RL turned out to be a good story or rather a series of vignettes featuring rogue lawyer Sebastian Rudd, his very angry ex-wife, his bodyguard Partner, and his quite colorful clients. Some of the stories overlap while others are self-contained. And it ended with enough of a cliffhanger to make me want to find out what happens next. Will the tightly wound ex ever  let Sebastian spend time with his son? Will the family of the client Sebastian couldn't convince to take a sweet plea deal (who ended up getting a very long prison sentence) come after the lawyer? Will psycho Arch Swanger keep popping up in Sebastian's life? Inquiring minds want to know! And I hope we don't have to wait too long to find out.
