It's a collection of mostly short stories--though Paris for One itself is more of a novella.
Each of the stories features a different woman in varying states of love. In the titular tale, our heroine gets stood up on a romantic weekend in Paris--which turns out to be the best thing that could have happened to her. Some of the other stories have ironic twists at the end. Others are kind of sad.
It's a quick read and Jo Jo is a gifted storyteller.
