Three-Inch Teeth by CJ Box

Teeth is the latest in the long-running Joe Pickett series. The teeth refer to a giant, very violent grizzly bear that has suddenly appeared in Joe's neck of the woods. The first victim is a man fishing in a river. But then victims start popping up all over the state--which seems very unusual to the bear experts who are tracking the bear.  And Joe begins to wonder if something else is going on--which turns out to be a good thought since unbeknownst to the Pickett clan, the evil Dallas Cates has been released from prison and he has a "revenge list" and a plan for executing it. I do love the close-knit Pickett family and look forward to their next adventure, though I hope it's a little less violent than this one was.
