The Main Corpse by Diane Mott Davidson

I was cleaning out my bookshelves and came across The Main Corpse, one of the earlier entries from the "Goldy the Caterer" series. Since I was in the mood for a mystery, and couldn't remember how this one ended, I jumped right in. And it was an enjoyable story.

Through her best friend Marla, Goldy gets involved with Prospect Financial Partners--first by catering an event in front of a gold mine then in trying to save Marla from a murder charge when one of the Prospect partners goes missing. As always, there are plenty of recipes accompanying the action.
