The Widow by John Grisham

Simon Latch is a small-town lawyer who is barely keeping his head above water. His marriage is falling apart. And life is not good. Then into his office walks Eleanor Barnett, a widow in search of a will. She says her husband left her Coca-Cola and Walmart stock worth millions. He sees the chance for a big pay day. But does she really have all that money? Is she conning him? Does she have dementia? He can't tell. But he doesn't want to give up on his chance to make big bucks. Then something happens to Eleanor and Simon gets arrested because everyone thinks he had the perfect motive. He's forced to try to prove his own innocence and gets help from some unexpected sources. As always, Grisham knows how to tell a good tale.
