Cold Zero by Brad Thor and Warren Larsen

 This nail-biter of a tale stars CIA agent Kasey Sheridan. She and her partner, Warren, have rescued a Chinese scientist and snatched his world-changing technology from the Chinese government, which desperately wants him and the technology back. Kasey, her partner, and the scientist are on a jet heading back to the US when the scientist's former assistant triggers her own technology, which brings down the plane in the middle of the arctic.  And it's left to Kasey and former fighter pilot, Brett, (the only member of the crew to survive the crash, to get the scientist and his machine safely to America, despite the repeated attempts of the Chinese to thrwart them--and the brutual weather they are facing. It's quite the page-turner.
