Grace to the Finish by Julie Hyzy

Grace is part of the Manor House Mysteries series. And I think I must have missed the one before this because it seemed to be picking up a couple of plots that I was unfamiliar with. (If you're new to this series, Grace runs Marshfield Manor and dabbles in crime solving). Anyway, there were 2 apparently continuing plots: Dashing Dr. Joe (with a mysterious past and a cane) is the new medical examiner and he and Grace are kind of smitten--though they can't seem to get their acts together to go on an actual date. And Grace's troubled sister Liza is getting out of prison and wreaking havoc on Grace's life.

In the middle of all this, Grace and her best friends are opening a wine shop in an old building that they're renovating. But one day when they go to check on the property, they find the body of the woman from the bank who had been involved with the deal. So Grace gets back into her crime-solving mode, which puts her life in danger.

This series in entertaining though truthfully I prefer the White House Chef series by the same author.
