Thanks, Obama is an entertaining behind-the-scenes look at life in the Obama White House
seen through the eyes of a White House speechwriter with a wicked sense of humor. Litt started out as an Obama supporter and campaign worker out in the field then gradually worked his way up to writing some of Obama's speeches. And I'll admit you'll probably like this book more if you're an Obama fan than a die-hard Republican. But it's still an interesting look at what it takes to get elected then to actually implement your agenda. Parts of this book made me laugh out loud.
