Stupid Things I Won't Do When I Get Old by Steven Petrow

After watching his parents stubbornly stumble into old age, Petrow vowed he would be better prepared. And he would accept things that could help him--ie, hearing aids, walkers--even if they made him look "old." The book is a series of essays on a variety of topics--from dying your hair to look younger to telling people that you love them before it's too late. Some of the stories are funny (his adventures with hair dye) and others are touching (telling his elderly landlady what an inspiration she has been). He definitely gives the reader something to think about as we're all getting older every day.
