How to Save a Life by Eva Carter

Kerry and Tim are best friends and teens who hope to go to medical school one day. One night at a party, Kerry sees soccer star Joel collapse. She thinks Tim will help her save Joel's life but he freezes. So she spends 18 minutes doing CPR on Joel until an ambulance arrives. That night changes all three of their lives forever. The story begins on New Year's Eve 1999 and ends on New Year's Day 2018. And we see how the three characters keep moving into and out of each other's lives.
