Someone Else's Shoes by JoJo Moyes

Samantha heads to the gym before work. As she's getting ready to leave for work, she realizes someone else grabbed her bag and she has someone else's bag--complete with flaming red Louboutin shoes. She has to wear the shoes to several meetings and realizes, once she figures out how to navigate in the sky-high heels, that she feels much more powerful in the expensive shoes. At the same time, Nisha, the actual owner of the shoes, is realizing that she has someone else's bag, her wealthy husband has dumped her for his assistant and left her penniless, and she is stranded in London without even her passport.

When Sam tries to return the shoes to the gym, she finds it has closed down. Nisha ends up working as a maid at the fancy hotel where her husband is staying, in hopes of getting her stuff back. Along the way, several unlikely friendships develop and there is a lot of girl empowerment.

As always, Jojo tells a good story. And I couldn't put it down.
