Pineapple Street by Jenny Jackson

The Stocktons are rich and privileged and they know it. Son Cord marries Sasha (a middle class outsider who never feels welcomed into the family, who refer to her as The Gold Digger), daughter Darley gives up access to her fortune rather than have her husband sign a prenup (a decision that later haunts her), and baby Georgiana works at a nonprofit and falls for the wrong man. The matriarch of the family, Tilda, is a handful and feels the need to take charge of every situation.

Not much really happens during this book, but I enjoyed the story. Georgiana starts to develop a conscience. Cord starts seeing that he should prioritize his wife over his siblings. Darley and her beloved Malcolm learn to work through difficulties together. Sasha was truthfully my favorite character because she was actually the nicest person of them all. It's an interesting look at a world I'll never belong to.
