The 23rd Midnight by J Patterson and M Paetro

 This is the latest installment of the Women's Murder Club series. In a previous book, serial killer Evan Burke was captured and received several life sentences in San Quentin. But now, someone seems to be copycatting his crimes--and it seems to be related to the release of Cindy's book on Evan Burke. The cops can't figure out who the copycat killer is and the bodies are piling up. Then one of their own gets kidnapped and tensions rise. It's quite the page-turner.
