Good Material by Dolly Alderton

Andy and Jen have been dating for years. Then she decides to move on. We then spend several hundred pages seeing Andy mope and whine and drink. (About which Alyssa on Good Reads said: "Being stuck inside the head of the 35-year-old man with the emotional bandwidth of a teaspoon is truly the seventh circle of hell"--and I totally agree. This story really dragged. At the very end of the book, we get Jen's perspective on the relationship--and we wondered why it took her so long to leave him.

Did not love this book.
