Funny Story by Emily Henry

Daphne is a librarian who is engaged to Peter whose best friend since childhood is Petra who is dating Miles. The day after his bachelor party, Peter comes home and tells Daphne he and Petra have decided they're soul mates and are heading to the Amalfi Coast for a week. And by the way, could she move out why they're gone? Devastated, she crosses paths with the equally devastated Miles--then ends up moving in with him since he has a spare room and she needs a place to live. And that's the beginning of  Miles' and Daphne's funny story of how they met and fell in love.

Daphne and Miles are likeable characters. (Peter is definitely not. Petra just seems very self-absorbed.) All in all it's a good summer read.
