Hard to beieve it's based on reality

The Irrestible Henry House tells the story of an orphan baby boy who is "loaned" to a college home economics program for a year so the students can practice their mothering skills on him. Needless to say, his unorthodox upbringing has a major impact on the rest of his life, including his views toward women and commitment.
The book follows the course of his life through the tumultuous 60s as he goes to work for the Disney company and eventually ends up in London with another of the "home-ec babies," now grown up. Intriguing concept, good characters, definitely worth your time. The author is Lisa Grunewald.

  1. I just finished the new Stieg Larsson, The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, and it was an exciting 3rd installment to the series. Lisbeth Salander is a unique heroine.
