Good beach book
Shoot to Thrill by mother/daughter writing team PJ Tracy is a good summer read.
The latest in the duo's Monkeewrench series (the first book was indeed called Monkeewrench), it features a ragtag bunch of computer whizzes who help solve crimes, somtimes by not exactly legal means. Along with the regulars--computer geeks Grace, Harley, Annie, and Roadrunner--and cops Leo and Gino--this book introduces a new character, soon-to-be-retired FBI agent John Smith. The story involves a series of murders that were filmed as they occurred then were shown on the Internet.
