Die Again by Tess Gerritsen

Die Again is the latest in the Rizzoli and Isles series. And it's an engrossing story that alternates between Boston, where Rizzoli and Isles are working on a case involving the death of a big game hunter and taxidermist, and Botswana, where a group of tourists are facing unspeakable terrors out in the bush. Maura Isles is convinced the two events are related but is having a hard time convincing anyone else, including her usual sidekick, Jane Rizzoli. The parts set in Africa are particularly suspenseful as the hapless tourists have no clue who to trust. It's a quick read for a snowy winter weekend.
