After You picks up the story of Louisa Clark from Me Before You.  Louisa is still grieving the loss of Will Traynor and trying to figure out what to do with her life. Then someone unexpected--with ties to Will--pops up in her life and sets her off on a different trajectory (literally and figuratively).

Louisa is the same kind-hearted girl she was in Me Before You. And I'm so glad that we got to check back in on her life and see what happened next. If you haven't read Me Before You, do. It's a wonderful story, both funny and sad, with memorable characters. And this is a heart-warming continuation, with some beloved old characters and some appealing new ones.
