The Accident by Chris Pavone

 Wow, this is one twisty-turny, convoluted story that I couldn't put down. It revolves around a manuscript, a tell-all book about a powerful media mogul. A book that will destroy his chances to run for office. So he can't have that, and sets a plan in motion to collect all the manuscript copies that are being passed around among publishing companies and agents and their assistants. The story keeps switching among characters, some of whom are unnamed, so you really have to pay attention. But it was quite the page-turner.
