The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews

 Ivy is a PR maven in Atlanta who finds out her husband has been cheating on her with her best friend. After the divorce, she decides to buy a ramshackle old house in the country in North Carolina. When she arrives, she finds out the house is not in the best shape, but she and her dog move in, with the help of Ezra, her friendly real estate agent. When she's searching through the closets, she comes across a note in the pocket of a Santa suit asking Santa to bring her Daddy back home. This sets Ivy off on the hunt to find out what happened to the little girl who wrote the note. 

It's a sweet story with likeable people--and just the thing to read on a gloomy winter day during a pandemic.
