22 Seconds by Jas Patterson and Maxine Paetro

 This is the latest installment of the Women's Murder Club series. Cindy is working on a book about a serial killer. Claire is assisting a fellow medical examiner on the case of a missing little girl. Yuki does not play a big role in this book. And Lindsey and Joe are involved in a case involving guns and drugs being shipped to the US from Mexico. Lindsey is being threatened. Cindy is attacked. And cops keep turning up dead. Good story and I like the characters.
