Love Isn't Supposed to Hurt by Christi Paul

 Until last Sunday, Christi Paul was the morning weekend anchor on CNN. She's always so upbeat that I like watching her in the morning. As everyone was saying their goodbyes last Sunday,  they mentioned the book she had written. So I went to find it at the library. Imagine my surprise to find that it's mostly about her abusive first husband and how hard it was to leave the marriage. (She's very religious and took her wedding vows seriously.) You just never know what's really going on in someone's life. I'm glad she has found a happy second marriage. 

Worth reading to see how hard it was for even a successful woman with a supportive family to leave an abusive situation. One can only imagine how hard it is for someone with no job skills and no support system to leave.
