The French Paradox by Ellen Crosby

 This is another in the Virginia vineyard mystery series by Ellen Crosby that I'm reading totally out of order. This one focuses on a romance that Lucie's grandfather, Luc, had with Jackie Kennedy during her year living in Paris. Her journal from that time ended up in Virginia and excerpts from it are going to be used as part of an art exhibit of paintings by an artist that Jackie loved. The other plot revolves around the murder of Parker, an eminent horticulturalist and friend of Lucie's, who was planning a special garden for Lucie's upcoming wedding. 

I like the characters in this series and really should find the first book and start at the beginning.
