 April is single and lonely, and she has a crush on the cute guy who works at her local bookstore.  Since he's the one who sorts through used books that get donated to the store, she sticks a note in a book she's donating trying to spark a little interest from him. But Westley (the cute guy) is distracted and puts the book on the shelf without seeing the note. Laura, a widow and single mom, picks up the book for her book club and sees the note inside. She thinks Westley is interested in her, so she writes a note back and sticks it in a book on the shelf as April had directed. Unbenownst to the 2 women, they are soon corresponding with each other and Westley has no clue either of them exists. This all leads to a series of mishaps and misunderstandings before it all gets sorted out. A sweet story with 2 likeable heroines and one kind but befuddled cute guy.
