From the ever prolific Alexander McCall Smith
Alexander McCall Smith is already the author of the popular Botswana series (featuring PI Precious) and the Scottish series (featuring editor Isabelle), now he's starting a new series featuring the residents of a London apartment building called Corduroy Mansions. Some of the residents, ie, William the Wine Merchant with the grown son who refuses to move out, are more endearing than others. But all in all, it's an entertaining read. And at the end, you do want to know what happens next to most of the characters.
