Exposed by Lisa Scottoline

When lawyer Mary DiNunzio's childhood friend Simon comes to her for help, she immediately accepts the case. He thinks he got fired because of his daughter's increasing medical bills. And he wants to sue his former employer. When Mary tells her boss, Bennie, about the case, Bennie says she has to drop it because Simon's former company is a subsidiary of one of Bennie's biggest clients.  When they look up the ethical guidelines, it turns out to be a gray area. Mary won't give up the case and thinks she may have to leave the firm. Bennie realizes that if Mary leaves, it will greatly change the firm. They're at an impasse until someone from the company in question gets murdered--and Simon becomes the prime suspect. Then the women team up to save Simon--and themselves.

It was a good story with characters that we've come to love from previous books--and a page-turner of an ending.
