Matchup

One of my sisters saw Matchup in her library and said it sounded like me, so I went and found a copy. As the name implies, Matchup is a matchup of popular mystery writers who combine forces to create new short stories involving their respective heroes/heroines. My favorite story was the one written by Lee Child and Kathy Reichs because Jack Reacher and Temperance Brennan actually worked together, each using his/her particular expertise, to solve a mystery. In some of the other stories,  one author's character is really the focus of the story while the other author's character pops up briefly then disappears. It's an interesting concept.
