The Money Shot by Stuart Woods & Parnell Hall

I've been enjoying the Teddy Fay series more than the Stone Barrington books lately because the Stone books have mostly been focusing on how much money Stone spends and how many women he gets into the sack rather than a real plot. The Teddy stories are more focused on telling a story.
In this one, Teddy Fay (former CIA guy and now movie producer) tries to help actress Tessa, when she gets a blackmail threat about a sex tape she didn't realize a former boyfriend had made. At the same time, Teddy gets called in by a casino owner who wants him to stop his new competitor, a mob guy. Teddy wants no part of the mob action but gets drawn in when the mob guy thinks he has been hired to eliminate the competition (even though he refused the job). At the same time, he's also trying to act in an action movie for the studio under one of his many aliases. And someone keeps trying to kill him. It's a lot for even Teddy Fay to handle. Quite the page-turner.
