Credible Threat by JA Jance

Threat is the newest Ali Reynolds mystery from Jance. Ali's friend the archbishop starts getting threatening notes in the collection baskets of churches around the city, which causes him concern. When the police blow it off, he mentions it to Ali, and her cyber security company is soon on the case. At the same time Ali's husband B is off in Europe trying to manage a ransomware case that he thinks looks a little fishy.

We find out the sad story of why the woman behind the notes is so angry at the archbishop--though her anger seems misplaced, which was the one thing that bothered me with this book. She thought of every other little detail so why didn't she learn more about her potential victim and see that he was not the bad guy she assumed?

Still, it was a good read. And I like this cast of characters.
