The Match by Harlan Coben

Wilde is a loner who lives in the woods. He was found as a child living on his own in the woods, which is how he got the name Wilde. But recently he decided he wanted to try to find his biological family, so he contacted a DNA registry. A match popped up indicating a match with someone who was probably his father. So Wilde went to track him down. The man said he never knew he had a son and didn't want his wife to know he had cheated on her, so Wilde didn't pursue it. Then he found another match, with a guy who had been the star of a reality show and had since disappeared. Then the DNA info on his father disappeared. All of which has Wilde wondering what is really going on.

This is quite the page-turner of a novel. Indeed I stayed up till 3 this morning to finish it.

It turns out this is part of a series that I had not read the earlier books from, but I still enjoyed the story.
