The Maid by Nita Prose

 Molly is a maid in a big hotel. Molly also is on the autism spectrum, so she has a different way of looking at the world. She lived with her beloved grandmother until her passing and now is struggling to make ends meet. But she is determined to be the best maid possible.

One day, she goes back to finish cleaning the room of the wealthy Mr and Mrs Black. When she gets there, the room is a shambles, Mr Black is dead, and Mrs Black (who had befriended Molly) is nowhere to be found. Because she found the body and because the police think she's acting very oddly, Molly becomes the prime suspect in Mr Black's death. Which is when she finds out who her real friends are.

I appreciate that the author came up with an original spin on a murder mystery. And that she created such a unique heroine. Quick read, good story.
