The Boy From the Woods by Harlan Coben

 Boy is the prequel to the new best seller, The Match. This book introduces the characters of Wilde, his godchild Matthew, Matthew's mother, Laila, and Laila's mother in law, feisty lawyer Heather. This story revolves around a missing teenage girl named Naomi and later another missing child, a rich boy named Crash. Wilde and Heather are trying to figure out where the 2 are and if the 2 cases are related. But a lot of people keep throwing up roadblocks.

I like these characters so I hope there is another book in this series in the future.
