To Kill A Troubadour by Martin Walker

Troubadour is the latest in the delightful Bruno Chief of Police series set in the fictional town of St Denis in France. In this installment, Bruno is faced with a possible terrorist attack expected during a concert by The Troubadours. He's also trying to help his dear friend Florence, whose abusive ex-husband has talked his way out of prison and wants to see his sons. And of course there's always lots of delicious-sounding meals whipped up by Bruno for his friends. (And I would so love to get invited to one of those dinner parties.) An excellent addition to this charming series.
