The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman

This is the latest in the charming Thursday Murder Club series, in which a group of residents at a senior community helps solve cold cases. The group decides to look into the case of a reporter named Bethany whose car went over a cliff while she was investigating a big fraud case. Her body was never found and no one was ever arrested. The other main plot involves ex-spy Elizabeth, who gets a message that she has to kill an old KGB guy who has become a major money launderer or the sender of the message will kill her best friend, Joyce.

I love this group of sleuths. Each one has a distinct personality. And there is gentle humor tossed in with the crime-solving. Can't wait for their next adventure.
