Worst Case Scenario by TJ Newman

 This page-turner starts with a passenger jet pilot experiencing a fatal heart attack while his co-pilot is in the plane's lavatory, where he hits his head as the plane starts to fall out of the sky. Unfortunately for the passengers, the plane crashes. Unfortunately for the people of a small town in Minnesota,  it crashes into a nuclear power plant. Most of the book focuses on the valiant efforts of the local fire department and nuclear experts to keep the crash from turning the area into the next Chernobyl. It's a frightening, compelling story with several heroic figures.
