An Inside Job by Daniel Silva

In this tome, Gabriel Allon, former spy and master art restoreer, is relying more on his art skills than his spy skills. When a budding British art restoreer is fished out of the lagoon in Venice by Gabriel, he decides to pull the thread and see how she landed there. Which leads to the Vatican and a possible newly discovered Leonard da Vinci painting, which everyone wants to get their hands on. As always, Silva tells a compelling tale. Good summer read.
