Overkill by JA Jance

Overkill is partyof the Ali Reynolds series. This novel has 2 main plots. One involves the murder of B Simpson's former business partner (who had an affair with, then married B's first wife, Clarice). The second plot involves Cami, who is a member of B's security company team. While she is out of town pitching a new client for the firm, she gets the feeling that someone has been watching her. Then she sees a man with a gun who keeps popping up in her vicinity and decides she needs her own security team.Then she takes matters into her own hands.

Ali Reynolds gets involved with the first case because the family's housekeeper is under suspicion for the murder and Ali is sure she's being railroaded. Ali and B's firm takes an interest in the second case because of Cami. Two good mysteries in one book. A nice read for a snowy day.
