Worth Dying For by Lee Child

I like Lee Child's Jack Reacher series a lot. They're good stories with an appealing main character who travels the country righting wrongs. But I have noticed that in the last few outings, the stories have become very violent. Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems to me that in the past, Jack Reacher used his wits more than his fists. The body count in Worth Dying For is quite high--especially considering that the setting is a sparsely populated area in Nebraska. And I'm still not sure that the big reveal at the end really makes sense.

So in sum, I'd say I love the character of Jack Reacher and this is a quick read. But I would recommend seeking out some of the earlier books in the series.
