Kinsey & Me by Sue Grafton

I've read all the A is for Alibi/Kinsey Milhonne stories (and am eagerly awaiting the rest of the alphabet). So I was intrigued when I heard about Kinsey & Me. The first half of the book is a series of short stories detailing cases Kinsey has handled. That part I enjoyed a great deal. The second half is much darker, about Sue Grafton's early years growing up as the child of two alcoholics. That half of the book is very sad. As a whole, Kinsey & Me is an interesting juxtaposition, showing how the character of Kinsey grew out of Sue Grafton's life and experiences.
