Movie review: American Hustle

I have to say that while everyone in this movie did a great job--Amy Adams, Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper--I'm not sure why it's getting 4-star reviews everywhere. I personally thought it was too long and too talky, which the people exiting the theater behind me seemed to agree with.

The basic story involves Abscam--an FBI action that netted several politicians for accepting bribes and other misdeeds. But it's such a convoluted plot and most of the characters are so unlikable that I found it hard to really like this movie. I did love the soundtrack however.
