When last we saw our flawed hero, ex Oslo cop Harry Hole, he had been shot by someone unexpected and was hovering near death. We don't find out how that incident ended until pretty far into Police.

Here's the basic premise: Someone is killing off members of the police force at former crime scenes. And the cops trying to solve the murders really wish they had Harry's help. As always, it's an action-packed adventure with plenty of plot twists and turns. And there's no guarantee that all of the regulars will survive. There are a few unexpected happy surprises, though.

Well worth the wait for the book to be translated into English.
