The English Girl by Daniel Silva

I was glad to see that Daniel Silva had returned to fine form with the newest installment in the Gabriel Allon (art restorer/Israeli spy) series. Here's the scoop: An English girl named Madeline disappears while on vacation in Corsica. It later comes to Gabriel's attention that she was more than just a tourist; she was the mistress of the British prime minister--so her disappearance was not a coincidence. Gabriel and a character from the earlier English Assassin join forces to try to find Madeline and bring her home--and figure out who/what was behind the plot to kidnap her. The plot moves right along with plenty of interesting revelations along the way.
