Carnal Curiosity by Stuart Woods

You'd think rich lawyer and bon vivant Stone Barrington would be a little more picky about the women he's sleeping with after his last show of bad judgment, but no. In Carnal Curiosity, Stone sleeps with his insurance investigator and it turns out there's a lot more to her than he suspected, not all of it good. Soon he's at a swanky party where all the guests are robbed. Then someone breaks into his supposedly secure home and steals some valuable paintings. And the chase is on to catch the bad guys before they pull off an even more spectacular heist. My aunt would say this is not "important literature," but it is an entertaining romp if you're just looking for a little distraction.
