Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand

Work has been crazy so I was looking for something light to read and found the perfect choice in Winter Street. It's a short novel set on Nantucket just before Christmas featuring the colorful Quinn clan. The father, Kelley, owns the Winter Street Inn. His daughter Ava, a music teacher, lives there as does his son Kevin, who owns a bar in town--and until the week before Christmas, so did Kelley's much younger wife, Mitzi. Now the household is in turmoil as family members deal with lost loves, an impending lawsuit, shaky finances, and worries about a baby brother who has just shipped off for Afghanistan. It's a quick read with likable characters.
