The Templars' Last Secret by Martin Walker

Templars' is the latest in the always enjoyable Bruno Chief of Police series by Martin Walker. There's a wedding, a terrorist attack, a little jealousy from an old lover, a spark of interest from another old lover, a tech-savvy new female colleague, some possibly repressed memories, and of course lots of good food.

This book starts with the death of a woman near the Chateau de Commarque, once a stronghold of the Knights Templar. There is a lot of information about the Lascaux cave paintings and the prehistoric people of the Les Eyzies area. It makes me want to travel to the area to see it all up close. And of course to enjoy some delectable regional cuisine.
