Even if it Kills Her by Kate White

Seems like it's been a long while since we've had a new Bailey Weggins mystery. Or maybe I've missed a few. But I was happy to see that there was a new one out--Even If It Kills Her.
Our intrepid writer heroine--now focusing on crime stories--meets up with an old college friend, Jillian, whose entire family was murdered years before. There is new evidence that the guy who was convicted and imprisoned for the crime (who is now dead) may not have been the killer after all.
Bailey keeps poking and poking--and almost gets herself killed in the process. But she does eventually figure out what happened to Jillian's family so long ago.

Good story, quick pace. It would be a good book for lazing by the fire over the Christmas holidays.
